UN's ECOSOC grants ITWA special consultative status
Congratulations to Imaging the World Africa. On 21 July 2021, the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) adopted the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to grant special consultative status to Imaging the World Africa (ITWA). This privilege will allow ITWA to participate in the work of the Council. Status also entitles designation of official representatives to the UN Headquarters in New York and the UN Offices at Geneva and Vienna. ITWA takes this responsibility seriously, and will leverage competence and expertise in medical imaging education, research and innovation to achieve our vision of impacting 15M lives by 2030.
