Lisa Soldat

Lisa is a family physician who calls both Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN her home. Throughout her career, she has specialized in obstetric care with an emphasis on obstetric ultrasound. She practiced in an urban community clinic in Minneapolis for many years. Following that, she was a Family Medicine faculty physician at the University of Iowa. Since 2011, she has been a visiting faculty at Gadjha Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, teaching obstetric ultrasound and maternity care to general practitioners and family medicine residents. She lectures nationally on women’s health topics for the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has a medical degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, and a Masters degree in Genetics from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
