Global Washington Conference
I am pleased to have had the chance to speak as part of the “Innovative Uses of Technology for Development” panel at Global Washington’s 2010 conference last week. Besides having the opportunity to present ITW’s work to a like-minded audience, I found this conference to be relevant, useful and inspiring. The diversity of the mix of topics was so relevant to our everyday challenges, and the speaker line-up was exceptional. I was reminded to resist getting isolated by my daily host of activities and details, and to pause to pay attention to the larger scope of global health outreach. It was enriching and informative to exchange questions and ideas with other pioneers, all innovating new ways to help the world’s most vulnerable people.
