Chicago Fundraiser for Imaging the World

Tonight, November 27th at 8pm, (Mom's Place, 650 N Dearborn, Chicago), the band Jenn & Tonic will hold a fundraising concert for Imaging the World.

Jenn & Tonic are  a cover band with many musical influences, covering songs ranging from the 1970’s to current hits but have a heavy 1990’s repertoire. They open their sets with more acoustic songs, ramping up the energy as the evening goes on, to get people out on the dance floor and having a great time.

Jon Jacobson, who plays the bass guitar for the band is a musculoskeletal radiologist by day, residing in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Jon is a Board member for Imaging the World and initiated Uganda's shoulder ultrasound program for the organization.

The event is dedicated to raising funds for ITW with 20% of bar sales going to the organisation - Jon, we thank you!

The band is made up of Jenn (singer, high school teacher, Ann Arbor, MI), Mike (guitarist, interventional radiologist, New Orleans), and Jon. For the gig in Chicago the band will also have Martin (drums, musculoskeletal radiologist, Boston ) and Marcos (sax, musculoskeletal radiologist, Ottawa). Discover more about the band at www.jennandtonica2.com

We are extremely thankful for the continued support of ITW from Jon and the whole band - we hope the event is a great success and look forward to reporting back on how it went.
— Dr Kristen DeStigter, Co-Founder & President, Imaging the World.
